Tradestaff are seeking a Civil Works Labourer to join our team for an immediate start! 

Responsibilities:

• Perform general civil works duties, including but not limited to excavation, paving, and road maintenance.
• Undertake tasks such as dredging, grouting, and underground work, often in confined spaces.
• Assist in wastework projects, managing waste disposal efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project objectives are met.
• Ad-hoc duties may include assisting with equipment maintenance and site cleanup.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a civil capacity is essential.
• Willingness to work away from home during the week, as the site is located in a remote area, with Monday to Friday shifts and weekend returns.
• Advantageous to possess experience or certification in working in confined spaces.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from the site.

Successful applicants must:

• Pass a pre-employment drug test
• Have 2 ready work references
• Have your own vehicle with a restricted or full license

You may also be required to submit a criminal history check with the Ministry of Justice.

Please note that our work is mainly industrial and therefore for Health and Safety reasons you do need a good command of English.
