Factory Worker - Turangi/National Park

We are looking for factory workers in the Tongariro Village/National Park area.

Our client runs a successful and Nationally recognised brand that has its base in this busy alpine factory.

Applicants should have some experience in the warehousing, pickpacking industry or demonstrate transferable skills.

• Physically fit and able to repetitively lift up to 20kgs.
• Reliable transport to work
• Pass a pre-employment Drug Test

Having a forklift licence or ability to operate is a bonus.

Payrate $24-26 depending on experience. Hours 7:30am-4:30pm.


Duties may include:

• Packaging, operating machinery, quality control or processing foods. May be required to load and unload items from machines, dollies, etc.  
• Feed or place items onto equipment for processing and pull damaged or ineffective product off the line.  
• Sweep, mop, scrape waste material from machines and remove debris.
• Place product on conveyor belt for further processing.  
• Start up and stop equipment for cleaning and sterilising plant processing areas.  
• There will be repetitive movements and observing items pass through conveyor belt.
