Wanaka
As good as it gets!
Wanaka, a resort town on New Zealand's South Island, is set on the southern end of its namesake lake with views of snowcapped mountains. It's the gateway to the Southern Alps' Mount Aspiring National Park, a wilderness of glaciers, beech forests and alpine lakes. Treble Cone and Cardrona ski resorts are near the park. Just outside the town is the outdoor maze and sculpture gallery of Puzzling World
Relaxed style of living - Popular tourist resort, considered less commercialised than Queenstown
World class outdoor surrounding - Visually stunning every which way you look from mountains to the water and everything in between.
Summer & Winter activities - Hiking, mountain biking, water sports, fishing and more Wanaka has a sunny climate that allows you to do this for 9 months of the year! Come Winter Wanaka has prime access and proximity to some of the best ski fields in the world - Cardrona, Treble cone and more.
Although not quite as big of a population of other NZ centres Wanaka definitely has a lot of construction going on to meet the increased demand of people moving to the region. This added with large infrastructure projects in the potential pipeline for the wider Wanaka regions means we can find nearly any type of work for you.
