The successful candidate will be responsible for performing TIG welding on a variety of metal components according to specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals as required.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to determine welding requirements.
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding techniques based on material thickness and type.
- Ensure welds meet quality standards and specifications, inspecting workpieces for defects and making necessary adjustments.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Proven experience as a TIG welder, with a strong portfolio showcasing your welding skills.
- Proficiency in TIG welding techniques, including the ability to weld various metals such as stainless steel and aluminum.
- Familiarity with welding equipment and tools, including TIG welding machines, grinders, and cutting torches.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is preferred.
- Relevant welding certifications or qualifications are a plus.
