We is seeking all Carpenters in the Taupo area.

We have an amazing opportunity on a large scale local commercial project to make your mark on.

This is a project based role with exposure to a range of varied skills, contractors, and elements of construction.

Pay rate will vary based on years of experience, qualifications, and competency.


Ideal candiates will:

• Be a Trade Qualified Carpenter
• Holding an EWP is advantageous
• Own set of hand/power tools
• Reliable transport to work
• Pass a pre-employment D&A test

Duties may include:

• form-work
• lay building foundations
• prepare boxing/shuttering framing for cement
• mix and pour cement
• put up plasterboard or drywall
• put in flooring
• finish roofing and make repairs to internal and external structure and ensure buildings are safe
• Assist to erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level and may be required to work at heights e.g. elevated work platforms, roofs, ladders, scaffolds etc.
• Maintain and operate safely a wide range of carpentry tools and equipment.  
• Work around plant and heavy machinery
• Complete all activities in a safe and efficient way

We would also be open to expressions of interest from HammerHands or Journeymen. 
Years exposure and range of carpentry skills required.
