Position: Residential Carpenter
Location: Wellsford, North Auckland
Pay: $30-$40p/hr

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Residential Carpenter to join our team. If you take pride in your work and have a strong attention to detail, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform carpentry duties on residential construction projects, including framing, decking, roofing, and finishing work
• Read and interpret plans and blueprints to ensure precise construction of structures
• Install doors, windows, flooring, cabinetry, and other interior and exterior features
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety
• Collaborate with project managers, other tradespeople, and clients to ensure timely project completion
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite
• Assist with the sourcing of materials and managing stock levels
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Residential Carpenter or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of residential building codes and construction techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
• Own tools and reliable transport
• NZ  qualification (preferred but not essential)
