Tradestaff is currently on the lookout for diligent civil machine operators to join one of our trusted clients here in Hawkes Bay for an IMMEDIATE START. You will be contributing to the rehabilitation of Hawkes Bay post Cyclone Gabriel.

Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview. Additionally, our work is mainly industrial and therefore for Health and Safety reasons you do need a good command of English.
Shift Pattern:
- The shift pattern will be 4 days on, 4 days off, 12-hour shifts. You will start at 6pm and work until 6am.
- These will be night shifts. You will be given a night shift allowance and travel allowance.
Responsibilities:
- Driving a 4x2 flatbed truck (automatic)
- Operating loaders/ excavators between 1.7t-20t
- Coordinating with team members, using hand signals or radios to ensure safe and efficient operations on site
Requirements:
- Class 2 license and WTR endorsements are necessary
- Comprehensive understanding of health & safety whilst operating heavy machinery
- Excellent communication skills between team members, project leaders + engineers
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 25+kgs on a routine basis
