Class 4 Delivery Driver

Tradestaff Waikato is currently looking for a reliable and confident Class 4 Delivery Driver to join one of our valued engineering clients based in Hamilton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced driver who enjoys being on the road and working with a professional team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class 4 truck to deliver materials and equipment to various job sites and clients across the region.
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment at delivery points.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure the truck is maintained in good working condition.
• Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery dockets and logbooks, accurately and on time.
• Maintain excellent communication with the dispatch team and clients to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to company health and safety policies at all times.

Skills & Experience:

• Valid Class 4 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a Class 4 delivery driver, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.
• Strong knowledge of local roads and routes in the Hamilton area.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Physically fit and able to assist with loading and unloading when necessary.
• Strong commitment to safety and following all traffic regulations.
• A reliable and punctual work ethic.
