Looking for a short-term driving role to boost up your Christmas funds? Look no further! Tradestaff is currently seeking a safe & aware Class 4 driver with their current Dangerous Goods & Forklift certificates for one of our valued clients here in Hawkes Bay!
This is a short-term, full-time contract with the placement length being 6-8 weeks, starting in late September/ early October. You will be driving an auto transmission vehicle. This role includes overnight stays, where meal, accommodation and fuel allowances are given.
Responsibilities:
During your allocated runs, you will be going in stores to collect/ swap out full bins of paint for empty ones, using an electronic pallet jack to maneuver both water-based and solvent based products. You will move the product from the store into the truck, where paint is already stacked into bins from the stores.
Runs: You will be alternative between week A and week B for the duration of this assignment.
Week A: Monday: Hawkes Bay- Wellington (overnight stay in Kilbirnie)
Tuesday: Wellington- Hawkes Bay
Total hours worked in week A: 22.5 hours
Week B: Monday: Hawkes Bay- Wellington (overnight stay in Kilbirnie)
Tuesday: Wellington- Hawkes Bay
Wednesday: Hawkes Bay- Whanganui- New Plymouth (overnight stay in New Plymouth)
Thursday: New Plymouth- Taupo-Hawkes Bay
Total hours worked in week B: 45 hours

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Class 4 driver in New Zealand
- Dangerous goods endorsement is ESSENTIAL
- Minimum 2 years’ experience operating a forklift & valid OSH certificate. F endorsement is highly preferred
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Complete pre-star check lists and fill out log book accurately
- Able to lift 20+ kgs on a consistent basis
