Key Responsibilities:
- Lay and finish concrete for a variety of construction projects, including foundations, floors, pavements, and decorative concrete.
- Prepare and level surfaces, ensuring proper alignment and thickness.
- Mix and pour concrete according to specifications, ensuring consistency and quality of the finished product.
- Use hand tools and machinery to smooth, level, and finish concrete surfaces to a high standard.
- Ensure all work is completed to strict health and safety guidelines.
- Work closely with the team to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Proven experience as a Concrete Layer in a construction environment.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
- Strong understanding of concrete properties, mixing, and finishing techniques.
- Experience using both hand tools and power equipment for concrete laying.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks and work in all weather conditions.
- Solid knowledge of health and safety practices on construction sites.
- Ability to work well independently or as part of a team.
- A reliable work ethic and strong attention to detail.
