Diesel Mechanic Team Leader
Are you a skilled Diesel Mechanic looking for an exciting opportunity in Auckland? We're seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team and contribute to our success in maintaining and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and machinery. You will also be responsible for workshop management, quoting, sales as well as managing a team of mechanics.
You will be responsible for:
-Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines, including trucks, buses, and construction equipment.
-Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
-Troubleshoot mechanical issues and develop effective repair solutions.
-Utilise diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems accurately.
-Managing Inventory
-Quoting jobs
-Workshop Management
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic (NZ Qualification preferred)
-Strong knowledge of diesel engines and their components.
-Proficiency in diagnostic software and tools.
-Computer Skills
-Experience working with hydraulics & vibro-hammers.
-Experience with workshop setup
-Willing to travel
