Experienced Digger Operators Needed

Multiple Positions - Start March 2025

Tradestaff South Auckland is looking for experienced digger operators to join our client’s team. If you’ve got heavy machinery experience and are ready to take on civil and rail projects, we want to hear from you!

About the Role:

• Operate diggers and heavy machinery on civil and rail construction projects.
• Work autonomously or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
• Follow health and safety protocols on site.
• Excavate, operate heavy machinery to move materials and grade land.

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience Operating Heavy Machinery (excavators, diggers, etc.)
• Exposure to Rail Projects (ideal but not essential)
• Tracks experience a must!
• Strong Health & Safety Focus – must be drug- and alcohol-free, know how to operate safely on a busy site
• Reliable Transport
• Team Player with great communication skills
• Strong Work Ethic – punctual, reliable, and committed to quality

What You’ll Need to Apply:

• Full Driver’s License (Class 1 minimum; higher classes an advantage)
• WTR Endorsement (for operating wheeled, tracked, or rubber-tyred machines)
• Relevant Experience operating diggers or similar machinery in civil or rail environments
• Ability to Pass Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Testing
• Two Work References from previous employers to verify your experience
• Strong Health & Safety Focus – must be drug and alcohol-free
• Reliable Transport
