Tradestaff are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sprinkler Fitter to join our team.

We are looking for experienced Sprinkler Fitters with background knowledge and experience with the following (but are not limited to):

Tradestaff are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sprinkler Fitter to join our team.

We are looking for experienced Sprinkler Fitters with background knowledge and experience with the following (but are not limited to):
- Installing, testing, upgrading and maintaining fire sprinkler and alarm systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine system layout and requirements.
- Assembling and securing pipes, valves, and fittings using hand and power tools.
- Ensuring systems comply with local and national fire safety codes and standards.
- Performing troubleshooting and repairs on malfunctioning sprinkler systems.
- Conducting system inspections and routine maintenance to diagnose faults and ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
- Adhering to workplace safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a sprinkler fitter or similar role.
- Trade qualifications preferred however scope and length of experience may substitute for the formal qualification
- Knowledge of fire safety systems and applicable codes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as climbing ladders, lifting heavy materials, and working in confined spaces.
- PGDB Registration (preferred but not essential)
- Full NZ Drivers Licence Preferred
- At least 2 work references
