General labourer | Thames

Looking for a Great Start in Civil Construction?
 
We're on the lookout for a fit and strong general labourer to join our team just outside Thames, near Kopu. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone local to Thames or the Hauraki Plains who wants to break into the civil construction (earthworks) industry.
 
What You’ll Be Doing:

• Daily use of shovels, rakes, and plate compactors.
• Working outdoors in all kinds of weather.
• Operating heavy roller machines (full training provided).
• Potential to train on other heavy machinery on-site.

What We Need From You:

• Fit, strong, and ready for physical work.
• Happy to work outdoors in any weather.
• A full NZ Class 1 driver’s licence and your own transport.
• Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a good sense of humour.
• A reference from someone we can talk to about your work ethic.
• Be okay with early starts and long days.
