Gib fixers, Plasters and Painters

Position: Gib Fixers/Plasterers & Painters
Location: Central Auckland
Pay: $27-$32 per hour
We are seeking skilled Gib Fixers/Plasterers and Painters to join our team working on a commercial job.
Key Responsibilities:

• Install and finish drywall (Gib) to ensure smooth, level surfaces for painting and other finishes
• Apply plaster and joint compound to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as required
• Sand, smooth, and prepare surfaces for painting, ensuring high-quality finishes
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a clean and professional look
• Repair and patch any damaged surfaces or drywall, ensuring flawless results
• Work with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Gib Fixer/Plasterer and Painter (minimum 4 years)
• NZ qualified or trade certification is a benefit
• Proficient in all aspects of gib installation, plastering, and painting
• Ability to read and follow plans and specifications
• Own tools and transport
