Responsibilities:
As a builders labourer, you will assist Trades Qualified personnel to construct, erect, install and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, use hand tools and power tools. Generally physical, outdoor work. Your day-today tasks may look like:

• Maintaining and operating a wide range of carpentry tools and equipment with safety
• Form-work
• Lay building foundations
• Cement-based work
• Flooring/ Gibbing/ Roofing based work

 
Requirements:

• Currently completing your level 4 Certificate in Carpentry OR minimum 2 years experience as a building labourer
• Own tools are not necessary, however highly advantageous
• Minimum restricted license and own transport to and from site is ESSENTIAL.
• Valid work Visa (if applicable) or the right to work in New Zealand
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test if applicable.
• Able to work independently or as a part of a team.
• Following instruction & clearly communicating to Trades Qualified personnel.
