We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified joiner to join one of Christchurch's busiest joinery companies. 

For the right person this will be an immediate start, the role will be mainly joinery work making shelving units and similar.

What you will be doing:

• Assemble and sand to a high standard.
• Read and interpret plans and drawings for cabinet making and joinery.
• Utilize a variety of materials including HPL, LPL, veneers, MDF, solid timber, PVC, acrylics, glues, fixings, hardware, and different finishes.
• Apply joinery techniques in crafting and assembling wood structures and components.

Skills required:

• Preferably a qualification in  joinery or cabinet making 
• Proven experience as a joiner, with expertise in all stages of joinery, including installations.
• Proficiency in timber work and a strong understanding of woodworking techniques.
• Ability to interpret design drawings and specifications accurately.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Dedication to quality, precision, and customer satisfaction.
• Flexibility to adapt to project requirements and deadlines
