Lawn Mower

We are looking for a reliable and professional Maintenance Gardener to join our lawn mowing team, working in rest homes around Christchurch. This role requires experience in lawn mowing, line trimming, and lawn edging. If you take pride in delivering excellent gardening services, this position could be perfect for you!

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain lawns and outdoor spaces at rest homes (mowing, line trimming, edging).
• Perform general upkeep tasks (weeding, mulching, leaf collection).
• Drive a manual Class 1 vehicle between various sites (safe and competent driving, strictly following road rules).
• Experience driving with a trailer is a bonus.
• Work independently, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

What You Need:

• Previous lawn mowing and grounds maintenance experience, including line trimming and lawn edging (essential).
• Full, clean Class 1 driver’s licence (manual driving competency required).
• Clean police record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional attitude.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, day shifts.
• No weekend work.
