Tradestaff Christchurch have an exciting new opportunity for a leading hand carpenter for commercial work.  

This role is with a well known company in the construction area with long term work available. 

The location for this role is Christchurch city centre and hours are normally 7.30am - 5pm.

Requirements for the role:

• MUST have a Trade qualification in carpentry and/or 5+ years of experience as a carpenter in NZ 
  • In addition to this, proven experience leading teams on site is essential for this role
• LBP, or willingness to work towards LBP status is a strong advantage.
• References related to previous leading hand carpentry work 
• Strong knowledge of NZ building codes and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Drug and alcohol free 
• Reliable transport and full toolkit is essential
