Load Pilot Driver

Do you have your class 2 License with you O/S Pilot License? Look no further! Tradestaff Hawkes Bay is currently seeking safety conscious and diligent load pilot drivers to join our team.
 
Responsibilities:

• Complete labour work where required to assist with moving oversized objects e.g. houses
• Operate a class 2 vehicle with your load pilot license to warn oncoming traffic of oversized vehicle
• Working with drivers, logistic teams and authorities to assess routes, identify potential hazards, and ensure compliance with regulations and permits for oversized loads
• Keeping accurate records of the transport process
• Maintain constant communication with the driver of the oversized vehicle
• Ensuring all transport activities

 
Requirements:

• Full & clean class 2 license
• Current load pilot license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Proven experience as a load pilot driver
• Must be able to work on roofs and in confined spaces
• Roofing knowledge is highly desirable
