Operations Manager to lead day-to-day plumbing operations across residential and commercial projects nationwide.
This key leadership role requires a balance of operational oversight, team management, and technical estimation. You’ll ensure high standards of quality, safety, and delivery across all projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage daily plumbing operations including scheduling, procurement, and field supervision
- Ensure compliance with NZBC, AS/NZS 3500, and Health and Safety legislation
- Oversee project documentation, productivity, and job reporting
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotes
- Lead and support teams of plumbers, apprentices, and subcontractors
- Build strong client and stakeholder relationships
What we’re looking for:- Licensed or Certifying Plumber (PGDB registered)
- 5+ years’ plumbing experience, including 2+ years in management or estimating
- Strong understanding of NZ Building Code and industry standards
- Proven leadership and team coordination skills
- Proficient with estimating tools (e.g., SimPRO, AroFlo, or Excel)
- Full NZ Driver’s Licence
