Sawmill Labourer

Tradestaff is on the hunt in Kawerau for suitable candidates in two distinct  Entry Level Roles:

Sawmill labourer:
- stacking, strapping and pulling timber, operating machinery, quality control
- load and unload items from machines etc
- Feed or place items onto equipment for processing and pull damaged or ineffective product off the line
- 40+ hrs a week 


Sawmill Cleaner:
- mature and experienced individuals with great physicality and work ethic
- cleaner assisting with the cleaning and tidying of processing areas.
- sorting through and pulling out debris, off-cuts, sawdust
- there will be areas you will need to clean that are quite tight spaces to get into
- 20-40 hours/week, weekend work available - will work around your schedule


Strong emphasis on physical fitness, able to lift materials all day.


Requirements:
- reliable transport
- good communication
- pass a drug test
- NZ/AUS Resident or valid Work Visa
