Sawmill Labourer

Tradestaff is advertsing for an entry-level Sawmill Labourer/Cleaner in Kawerau with an eye for detail.

The job requires you to assist the machine operators in production.

This involves maintaining and cleaning the machines and processing area to ensure the smooth operations.

- Moving and lifting wood, off-cuts and by-products
- Sweeping operating areas
- Cleaning machines efficiently in between operations

This is a great opportunity to gain an understanding of how timber processing and manufacturing works.


To be successful you will be:

- Good with time management - be efficient
- Physically fit and able to lift materials, get in tight spaces
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication with others


Applicants must:
- have reliable transport to work
- pass a pre-employment drug test
- provide a work-related reference
- have a keen attitude to work!
- be currently based in Aotearoa NZ
