Steel Fixer

Tradestaff are looking for Steel Fixers to join our team here in Tauranga. 

We're looking for experienced Steel fixers who are confident in the below:

• Setting out the work area following engineering plans and ability to read, interpret and follow specifications, drawings      
• Using hand and power tools to cut and bend bars or mesh. 
• Tying rebar together with wire, clips or welds to build up cages or sections. 
• using a variety of hand and power tools, including industrial wire or bolt cutters, guillotines and power saws. 
• Working with steel rods, bars and mesh structures, as well as also working with concrete and also using welding gear to weld steel structures into place. 

What we need from you:

• Proven Experience in Steel Fixing. 
• 2 references to attest to your abilities
• Ability to do the above efficiently and confidently
• Commitment to health and safety.
