Calling all experienced Telehandlers!
Tradestaff is currently on the lookout for health & safety conscious and diligent telehandler operators for a large project with one of our trusted clients. This project is contributing towards the rehabilitation of Hawkes Bay post Cyclone Gabrielle.

Shift Pattern:
  • This project will commence around the second week of October and go until the end of 2024.
  • You will be working night shift, 5 days on, 2 days off, 10-hour shifts. This is subject to change dependent on job demand.
Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in site preparation by moving earth, debris and other materials
  • Moving heavy objects such as bricks, polystyrene and construction supplies
  • Reading high places to lift materials and equipment
  • Precisely placing materials in hard-to-reach places
  • Coordinating with team members, using hand signals or radios to ensure safe and efficient operations on site
Requirements:
  • Full class 1 license + your own vehicle (class 2 is not necessary, but highly advantageous)
  • WTR endorsements + telehandler ticket is necessary
  • Comprehensive understanding of health & safety whilst operating heavy machinery
  • Excellent communication skills between team members, project leaders + engineers
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 25+kgs on a routine basis
