We are looking for a Motor Rewinding Technician Apprentice to join our team in Middleton, Christchurch, starting in the New Year. If you already have at least basic, if not more advanced, mechanical or electrical experience and are eager to learn and grow, this is the perfect opportunity for you to take your career to the next level.

About the Role:

• Apprenticeship with Growth Potential: Start as an apprentice, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on your performance and fit.
• Competitive Pay: Starting at $25/hour, with overtime available at 1.5x the regular rate.
• Full-Time Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm.
• Hands-On Learning: Work alongside experienced technicians to learn the ins and outs of motor rewinding, maintenance, and repair. You'll apply your mechanical and electrical knowledge to a variety of real-world projects across different industries.
• Career Advancement: As you gain experience and refine your skills, there are plenty of opportunities for further training and advancement within the company.

What We’re Looking For:

• Hands-On Experience: At least basic (preferably more advanced) experience in mechanical or electrical work. You should be comfortable using tools, troubleshooting, and handling technical tasks.
• Mechanically and Electrically Minded: A genuine interest in motor rewinding and electrical systems, with a strong background in mechanical or electrical work.
• Problem-Solving Skills: You’re quick to diagnose issues and find practical solutions.
• Reliable & Proactive: We need someone who takes initiative, is dependable, and is eager to continue learning.
• Team-Oriented: You work well in a close-knit team and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
