Key Responsibilities:
- Building residential houses from foundation to completion.
- Reading and interpreting architectural and technical drawings.
- Framing, roofing, cladding, and finishing work.
- Ensuring all work complies with New Zealand building codes and safety standards.
- Collaborating with other tradespeople and contractors on-site.
- Solving construction challenges and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Proven experience in residential construction (minimum 3+ years).
- Relevant qualifications in carpentry or building (NZ trade qualification preferred).
- Strong knowledge of New Zealand building codes and regulations.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality craftsmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Full NZ driver’s license and own reliable transport.
