Job Description:
We are seeking experienced and skilled Carpenters & Joiners/Hammerhands to join our team in Wellington. This role involves a range of carpentry and joinery tasks, from residential projects to commercial builds. Successful candidates will work on various projects, including framing, finishing, joinery installations, and general construction tasks.
Key Responsibilities:

• Execute carpentry and joinery work to high standards, ensuring quality finishes
• Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to achieve project goals
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
• Use hand and power tools effectively and safely
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe working conditions
• Complete projects on time and within budget

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or Joiner (minimum of 3 years preferred)
• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in carpentry/joinery
• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and construction principles
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of health and safety practices in the workplace
• Reliable transport and a valid driver’s license
• Own tools are preferred, but not essential
