Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality metal components for heat treatment processes
• Set up, program, and adjust CNC machinery to meet specifications
• Monitor machine operations to ensure correct settings and precision tolerances
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as necessary
• Troubleshoot and resolve any machine or production issues
• Work with engineering and production teams to ensure efficient workflows
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, preferably in a metal heat treatment environment
• Proficient in CNC programming and operation 
• Strong understanding of machining techniques, tolerances, and quality control
• Experience with metal alloys and heat treatment processes is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• High school diploma or equivalent; CNC certification preferred
• Must be a NZ resident/Citizen
