About the RoleWhen you work with our client, no two days are the same. You’ll be involved in a wide range of tasks, including:

• Uplifting old floor coverings and preparing surfaces for new overlayments.
• Concrete grinding, milling, and shot blasting.
• Installing carbon fibre wrap and performing structural concrete repairs.
• Self-smoothing floor levelling, FLC work, and feathering with fast-setting compounds.
• Concrete slab repairs using crack injection equipment.
• Operating advanced, specialised equipment.

Based in Hamilton, our client’s work spans across Waikato, Auckland, and the Bay of Plenty.
We’re Looking For Candidates with Experience In:

• Concrete grinding
• Concrete and asphalt milling
• Shot blasting and sandblasting
• Screeding, ramping, and patching
• Uplifting and removing tiles, coatings, and membranes
• Slip-resistant concrete texturing
• Trip hazard removal and road marker removal
• Concrete alterations, including cutting rebates

Key Skills You Must Have:

• Strong product knowledge of sealant and epoxy products
• Chemical handling expertise
• Commitment to excellent health and safety practices
• A full New Zealand driver’s licence

Priority Qualifications:

• EWP (Elevated Work Platform)
• Working at Heights certification
• Harness certification
• Confined space and gas detection training

Additional Information:

• All applicants must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• This role requires flexibility, as you may need to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends.

Employment Details:

This is a temporary position through Tradestaff, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Depending on skill and experience, the hourly rate for this position is between $27 and $32 per hour.
