Directional Driller

Our clients around the Waikato are seeking a Directional Drill Operator for an immediate start!

We can offer a competitive pay rate depending on your experience.  

Requirements:

• Proficiency in operating directional drilling equipment 
• WTR endorsement (Wheels, Tracks, Rollers).
• Full Class 2 or 4 but not essential. 
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to underground drilling operations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Operate directional drilling equipment to create pathways and boreholes underground according to project specifications.
• Ensure all drilling operations are conducted safely and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and inspect drilling equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and safe operation.
• Collaborate with project managers and crew members to plan and execute drilling activities effectively.
• Document drilling activities, including borehole locations, depths, and any issues encountered during operations.
• Provide support in site preparation and cleanup activities as needed.
