Engineering Team Manager - Conveyor Systems | $130k+ Per Annum

Tradestaff are seeking an Engineering Team Manager, specialising in conveyor systems, to join us for a late September Start!

Responsibilities:

• Team Management:
  
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of engineers and technicians.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and foster professional development.
• Engineering and Technical Oversight:
  
  • Manage and perform hands-on engineering tasks involving tools and machinery.
  • Ensure the effective operation and maintenance of conveyor systems and related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with conveyor systems and machinery.
• Project and Workflow Management:
  
  • Plan and oversee engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for conveyor systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve processes.
• Safety and Compliance:
  
  • Ensure all engineering practices comply with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Educational Background:
  
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience:
  
  • Proven experience in an engineering role with hands-on experience using tools and machinery.
  • Demonstrated experience managing teams and leading engineering projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of conveyor systems and related technologies.
• Skills:
  
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical expertise.
  • Proficiency in using engineering tools and machinery.
