We have a thrilling opportunity for a skilled technicians/mechanic to become a crucial part of a dynamic and friendly team!
In this role, you’ll dive into a variety of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic servicing and repairs, working on an array of forklifts and heavy materials handling equipment. With a diverse customer base and a sizable forklift rental fleet, you'll enjoy a stimulating and varied work environment that includes fleet servicing, workshop repairs, and field servicing.
A wide variety of clients such as; Kiwifruit and Port sectors to Manufacturing, SMEs, Storage, and Distribution, gives you the chance to engage with a broad spectrum of equipment. While expertise in electric or diesel/LPG forklift trucks is a plus, the team are dedicated to training the right candidate to excel in this role.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant Experience: Either a qualification with 3 years’ experience (including apprenticeship) or 5+ years in heavy diesel or automotive electrician roles.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of electronic and electrical circuits, as well as hydraulic systems.
• Diagnostic Skills: Excellent at diagnosing and troubleshooting issues.
• Forklift Experience: Familiarity with Jungheinrich, TCM, and UniCarrier forklifts is a plus, though not required.
• Independent Worker: Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Clean Driver’s Licence: A valid, clean driver’s licence is essential.
• Communication & Computer Skills: Good communication skills and computer literacy.
• Positive Attitude: A proactive, can-do approach to all tasks.
