Maintenance Engineer

We have a high-level role for a trade qualified and experienced Maintenance Engineer.

The main duties of the role consist of:

• maintaining the operations and maintenance of all mechanical and static plant associated with Aquatic Services Facilities.
• Checking, repairing and servicing machinery, equipment, systems and infrastructure.
• Ensuring that industrial machinery and equipment runs smoothly and reliably, by planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance.
• The maintenance of chlorinators, filters and heating equipment, carried out efficiently and to an agreed standard.

In order to be considered for the role you will need:

       • 5 years proven experience in mechanical engineering.
       • 5 years proven experience in the maintenance and operation of plant machinery.
       • Proven ability to interpret and action emergency procedures.
       • Ability to plan, organise, implement and maintain systems in an orderly fashion.
       • Good writing skills for documentation of data and experience of data analysis to assess business improvement requirements.
       • The ability to work to structured, systematic and documented work procedures.
       • Knowledge of health and safety in employment legislation and the ability to implement relevant health and safety policy and procedures.
       • Ability to carry out appropriate documentation when required
