We are thrilled to be recruiting a Production Technician on behalf of our client, a cutting-edge and rapidly growing company in the manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and values both personal and professional growth. While a background in chemistry would be a fantastic bonus, we are ultimately looking for a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a drive to succeed.

Why This Role is Special:
  • Competitive pay: Start at $29.90/hour with plenty of room for growth as you develop new skills and take on more responsibility.
  • Flexibility: Choose between full-time or part-time hours, allowing you to fit work around your lifestyle.
  • Four-day workweek: Enjoy long weekends to relax and recharge, with a strong focus on maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
  • Career advancement: You’ll benefit from continuous training and development opportunities, opening doors to future roles and permanent positions.
  • Team-focused environment: Be part of a workplace that values collaboration, where your ideas are heard, and your contributions are recognized.
  • Diverse tasks: Your day will involve a mix of manual handling, forklift operation, and production line support, keeping things dynamic and interesting.
Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Manual handling of wool: Loading/unloading wool into tanks and performing general site duties to maintain smooth production flow.
  • Forklift operation: Safely handle forklifts (OSH certified) when required to support material transport and production needs.
  • Production line support: Assist in ensuring the production process runs efficiently and help resolve any production issues as they arise.
  • Safety and quality standards: Follow all safety protocols and maintain high-quality standards to meet the company's commitment to excellence.
  • Documentation: Keep thorough batch records and ensure compliance with production standards.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Physical stamina: You’re comfortable with manual labor and can handle the physical demands of the job.
  • Experience in food manufacturing or similar industries: This is a plus, but we’re open to candidates from other backgrounds who show promise.
  • A chemistry background: While not required, this would give you an edge, particularly for more technical tasks.
  • Attention to detail: You’re methodical and precise, ensuring production processes are followed carefully.
  • Problem-solving skills: You’re quick on your feet, able to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Forklift certification: If you don’t have one yet, don’t worry—we’ll provide the training you need.
Why Join Us:This isn’t just a job—it’s an opportunity to grow within a company that values both your professional development and personal well-being.
While work-life balance may evolve, we strive to provide a flexible and supportive work environment. This role offers more than just a paycheck; it’s a chance to be part of a forward-thinking team that’s committed to innovation and continuous improvement.
