Forklift Mechanic - Up to $45 per hour!

Tradestaff are seeking an experienced Forklift Mechanic to join our team for an immediate start!

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a forklift mechanic or similar role.
• Certification or degree in mechanical or automotive engineering preferred.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on forklifts to ensure functionality.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues promptly.
• Replace parts and components as necessary, ensuring high-quality repairs.
• Conduct thorough testing of repaired forklifts to verify proper operation.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
• Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to maintain a productive workshop environment.

• Pass a pre-employment drug test

• Have your own vehicle with a restricted or full license

You may also be required to submit a criminal history check with the Ministry of Justice.
